This sunday, from 11am to 5pm, enjoy Father's Day at the Honolulu Academy of Arts!

Part of Bank of Hawaii's Family Sundays, this Sunday's theme is "Let's Go Fishing!" Catch a film screening of Ponyo, Hasao Miyazaki's latest film, at 11:10am, 12:50pm, and 2:30pm. Make some Gyotaku prints, enter a drawing contest, there's plenty to do!

UH KIDS FIRST! Film Festival

Starting Sunday, June 13, 2010, 3pm, at UH Manoa Art Building Auditorium.

The award-winning University of Hawai‘i KIDS FIRST! Film Festival
returns with four summer Sundays of free family films.

KIDS FIRST!, a project of the Coalition for Quality Children's
Media, is the largest traveling children's film festival in the world.

Curated locally by UH Manoa's Outreach College, KIDS FIRST! films
are free of gratuitous violence; race, gender, or religious bias;
inappropriate content; and condescension towards children.

Age-appropriate groupings of films entertain through a balance of
animation and live action, plus varied themes from different cultures.

Science Fair 2010

Science Fair 2010, an inaugural science fair for DOE Middle Schools, will be held at Kapiolani Community College Cafeteria
this Saturday, February 6, 2010, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Along with
the science fair exhibits, viewing of demonstrations from Kapiolani
Community College’s STEM Program and the high
schools are free and open to the public.
